On Sunday it was Leanne's birthday and due to all the nice weather, they had a BBQ. Only the weather turned and we all got soaked! Here are a few photos from before it rained!

Back by popular demand - it's Krystal eating and sleeping at the same time...
This was on Saturday after an outing to the park with James. We've been skipping her nap recently as she's not going to sleep at night which means she's not getting enough sleep at night, is miserable the next day and then naps longer and makes the nighttime WORSE! However, as you can see, some days she can't quite manage with no sleep!

Today Kory went to his first trip with nursery, to Brechin Castle Centre, so Mummy and I had a special day. First we came home and made tea for the builders who are in our garden. Then we got all the stuff out to make some cakes. We cheated a bit by using cake mix as it was Dora ones. I love Dora.
First I mixed up the egg and the mix with water...
Then I put the mix into the wee cases and ate the rest off the spoon, yummy!
Once they were cooked and cooled, I got to put on the Dora stickers that you can eat, some icing & some stars.
Then Mummy wrote our names on them too and put some smiley faces.
Once we were finished, we went to Johnstone gardens to play for a while. We really like it there as there are ducks and swings and very pretty flowers.
On the way home Mummy decided we could go out for lunch. So we went to Harvesters where I got a burger, potatoes and peas.
By the time we were finished it was time to get Kory again from his trip. We had a very nice day together, which we don't get very often.

I've got a backlog of photos waiting to go on, so thought I'd do a wee update.
This week has been quiet - mainly due to me having my injection. On Monday morning I took Krystal to Maria's house to have lots of cuddles with Daniel. He's been covered in chicken pox and I'd really like the kids to get it before they are too much older! The afternoon was pouring with rain so we didn't do much.
Tuesday on the other hand was roasting! I had my injection in the morning, while Krystal was in "school" and Kory in nursery. In the afternoon, we went round to Maria's to play in the garden. Daniel was still nice and spotty, so Kory got in there too!
As they had been meant to go away on holiday this week (until Daniel got pox) Davie was off work. The boys had great fun chasing him around the garden!
James was working from home on Wednesday because I was really ill the day after my last injection, just in case. Only I was fine. Oops! We didn't do much, I didn't want to overdo it really.
Then today the gardeners came...finally! Currently the back garden is a total mess, but as with anything, it gets worse before it gets better. I'll do a blog on it once it's done!
We spent the afternoon at Leanne's new house today. It was very weird, it's exactly the same as ours, but back to front. It's so familiar yet so different!
This was last week - they got bubblegum ice lollies from the ice cream van. This part was funny, but afterwards we realised it doesn't come off. All round their faces were stained blue!! Took a lot of scrubbing to get that off!
A few photos from last weekend when we were down the road.
Krystal with a chocolate stick thing then Mum & Tom
Jamie & Laura then with James & I (Both taken by Kory!)
Mum with Kory then Jamie, Laura & I (Krystal insisted on taking since Kory got a shot!)

And lastly 2 wee posers in their jammies last night!
On Friday we drove down to my Dads house in Glasgow so that I could go to the Take That concert with Laura. Tricia was going too with a friend so Dad took us in about 6:30pm.
Gary Go was on about 7pm and I quite liked him...
Next was The Saturday's who were dreadful, I thought they might be ok, but they so couldn't sing. Not that I can, but then I've not been asked to tour stadiums with Take That!!
Finally at about 9pm, Take That came on stage, yay!! I've seen them several times before, but this show was like something I've never seen. The tour was called "Circus" after their album and they had all sorts there, clowns, balloons, trapeze artists, acrobats, tightrope walkers, even riding unicycles themselves. I think even people not liking Take That would have to say it was an impressive show. In fact this blog from someone else sums it up perfectly.
One of the most amazing things was an elephant that came out of the stage with them on the top. Best explained by the following video I think!
I've had a very busy week. Both days at "school" has been our sponsored obstacle course so I am exhausted from that. But as I had a long lie this morning and Mummy had to waken me, she didn't think I needed my nap.
In the afternoon, Jessica and Sophie came to play while their mummy got a tooth out. We did lots of fun things. Once they went home, Mummy was talking on the phone to Auntie Laura for ages and ages. I was playing at dressing up in my Upsy Daisy costume, but sleep just got the better of me and I fell asleep.
It was very nice, but Mummy kept trying to waken me up. How rude!

Been a bit on a non eventful week here ar chez Buckingham. Monday I got caught up on some chores, Tuesday was Kory's nursery sports day and boxing class, Wednesday afternoon was our town day to get a friends 30th birthday pressie (you know who you are, I won't name & shame!), Thursday we went to the big Tesco and then I had the doctors (injections brought forward again and on another 2 different pills - yes I now rattle!) Friday we went to Leanne's house for the last time before she moves house, and today was Cove gala day. Nothing much to report on any of it and no photos to show for it either. Can you tell I'm feeling pretty rubbish just now?!
So back to the sports day on Tuesday morning seeing as it was the highlight of the week! It wasn't the normal kind of sports day I remember from school, but a Mini Highland Games. The kids were divided into teams a few weeks ago (Kory was in White Team) and all the events were team ones.
There was "Stir the Porridge" - run to porridge, mix it up and run back...
Then a twist on the egg and spoon race with "Tattie on a Spoon" - keep tattie on spoon, run to end and back (Kory wasn't in much of a hurry as you can see!) ...
Next was "Bruce's Spider" - run, go through tunnel collecting a spider, run to web, place spider on web and run back...
They moved on to "Scotch Broth" - run, choose a vegetable, run to pot, put in vegetable and run back...
My favourite was "Throw the Haggis" - run, pick up a haggis and get it in the net then run back...
And lastly was "Toss the Wellies" - run to wellie pile, choose one and throw it from where you were and see if you could get it into the big tub then run back (a bit of "helping" going on by the tub holder methinks!!)...
At the end was the awards where they all got a medal for taking part. No winners and losers nowadays. Not sure that teaches them anything about life and the need to try hard to get ahead. But don't get me started on that!
As the weather had held out, they let each age group do a quick flat race, here's Kory's...
And lastly....the dad's race. Now this *was* competitive, loads of them got up for it, including James...
Krystal enjoyed herself too, but was a bit bored and huffy by the end.

We've been very busy this week but Mummy didn't take any photos at the start of the week. On Monday my new best friend Jamie came round to play in the garden as it was really hot. He came with his mummy and baby brother Charlie and we had great fun playing on the bouncy castle and in the ball pool.
On Tuesday I had my Muay Thai class as usual and on Wednesday, we went into town with Mummy for some bits and pieces. Then on Thursday it was Josh's birthday. So in the afternoon we went round to his house for a little mini party. Jessica and Sophie came too and we played some games inside then went to the garden for a while too.
Josh had a cake and we all got a piece of that too. After we came home, it was a bit of a rush for dinner as it was my parents night at nursery at 6:30pm. Mummy went and had a good chat with my teachers, and watched a video of us all singing on Red Nose Day. I think Mummy and Daddy were happy with what they said about me as I got loads of kisses and cuddles! I don't think I'd like it if I'd not done too well!
Yesterday, Krystal and I didn't see Daddy all day as he left at 5:30am to go to Edinburgh for a conference with lots of people with computers like him. Also nursery was off for the day for an inservice day. In the morning, Jess and Sophie came to play while their mummy went to a meeting, then they had lunch at our house.
We couldn't decide what to do, so we got our jackets on and went to the bus stop to go on a bus trip! I've only been on a bus twice before and Krystal has never been on one so we really enjoyed it.
We got off in town and went to a few shops, did a toilet run and then went to the cookie shop! I chose a chocolate orange one and ate it on the bus home. It was very yummy!
Today we spent the morning with Daddy and then went to a gala in the next village. We got to play on a bouncy castle, colour in a picture and get a goody bag for doing it as well as having juice and cake inside.
Lastly, I got my face painted. I've never wanted to do it before, but my friend Joe who is 7 was getting his done and I wanted to be like him! I chose to have a bumble bee done and sat down all brave.
Mummy and Daddy were suprised, but here is me with my face finished. I thought it would be stripey like a bee, and this looks a bit more like a butterfly, but I liked it anyway. I even came home and watched the Bee Movie! I've had a really nice week this week.
