Blair Drummond.JPGYesterday we got up early because Daddy was going to treat us to a special day out at a place called Blair Drummond Safari Park.  It was a long way in the car to get there, but it was a very sunny day, so it was a nice drive.  We even stopped at a big Tesco in Dundee to get some extra food for our picnic.

Rhino.JPGWhen we arrived at the park, we drove round a big drive and saw all the big animals.  Krystal was so small she couldn't see from her seat so had to go in the front on Mummy's knee.

Zebra.JPGWe saw elephants, lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, bisons, big cow things, rhinos, camels and loads of other animals.  They come right up to the car too.

Picnic.JPGAfter that we went and parked the car and got out to have a picnic.  It was very hot outside, and our lunch was fun.  We had sandwiches, eggs, chicken bites, crisps, juice, cheese things and loads of things like that.  Once we had eaten it was time to play in the pirate ship and sandpit and castle.  We had great fun.

Giraffe.JPGWe then went a walk and got really close to the giraffes, elephants and zebras.   Kids Elephants.JPG

James Krystal Boat.JPGWe waited in a little queue and got on a little boat.  It took us to an island where the big huge monkeys live.  They are called chimpanzees.  That was great fun.

Lemur Land.JPGNext we went across a bridge to a different section called Lemur Land.  It looked really fun, but it wasn't.

Hiding Lemurs.JPGWe walked round a big bit where we thought we'd see loads of Lemurs.  But they were all in the one space, hiding together under a shelter sleeping.  How rude.

Kory Julie Castle.JPGWe went back to the park for a little while where we went in the maze and Mummy took me up the high castle and we went down a really hugh chute that was curly and even Mummy said it was a little bit scary.

Down the other end of the park, we went to see meerkats, penguins and sealions.  Then we saw a big brown bear from the bridge.

Albino Wallaby.JPGNext we went into the pet farm it was called.  There were pigs, little ponies who loved to be stroked, and little baby kangaroos.  There was even a white one with red eyes.

Sealion.JPGThe last thing we did at the park was go to the sealion show.  We went inside to a big room with a stage and a pool in it and saw 2 sealions do some cool tricks.  They are really clever waving at me and clapping.

After that we had to get back in the car.  It had been a very long day, and Krystal and I were asleep before we got out of the park!

Wild Animals.JPGWe stopped off in Dundee again for some dinner as it was 6o'clock by then.  When we got home to bed it was much past my bedtime, it was 8:30!  I was very very tired today for nursery, but it was worth it, us 'wild animals' had a lovely day out, thanks Daddy.

P.S.  Daddy spotted a hot air balloon on the way home and thought it looked pretty over Perth, so here we have a photo!
