On Friday we drove down to my Dads house in Glasgow so that I could go to the Take That concert with Laura. Tricia was going too with a friend so Dad took us in about 6:30pm.
Gary Go was on about 7pm and I quite liked him...
Next was The Saturday's who were dreadful, I thought they might be ok, but they so couldn't sing. Not that I can, but then I've not been asked to tour stadiums with Take That!!
Finally at about 9pm, Take That came on stage, yay!! I've seen them several times before, but this show was like something I've never seen. The tour was called "Circus" after their album and they had all sorts there, clowns, balloons, trapeze artists, acrobats, tightrope walkers, even riding unicycles themselves. I think even people not liking Take That would have to say it was an impressive show. In fact this blog from someone else sums it up perfectly.
One of the most amazing things was an elephant that came out of the stage with them on the top. Best explained by the following video I think!

We were standing so didn't get the full stage effect and we were also amongst the drunkest people I've ever seen (all women I'm ashamed to add). But that aside, it was a fantastic concert and the kids loved it too. Extremely good value for money I think.
Favourite part for me was "Relight My Fire" with the creepy ringmaster. I loved "The Garden" too on the Elephant. All good.
Only downside was that I was working on the Monday morning...in ABERDEEN. We drove back dtraight after the concert and didn't get home til 2am. Mad but so worth it.
