It's been brought to my attention recently (and in the past) that there are some people reading this blog and judging me on things I say here, particularly boasting about the kids. If you are one of those people, please remember that this is MY blog, therefore MY space to say what I like here.
This is a place primarily for family members who do not live locally to keep up with the kids, what they are doing, how they are developing and to see photos of them. As I've done it for so long, it's become a bit of a place for me to keep track of timelines of events of their lives too. Yes it's rose tinted, mostly only the good bits, but isn't that what family want to read?! Don't you all report to your parents the new things your kids do? This is one way of me doing the same.
I've often contemplated stopping doing the blog. I've also requested on many ocassions that James help me put password protection on it. Not to keep unwanted strangers off here (because I never post photos of any dodgy nature, or say anything I don't want people to know) but to stop people I do know from knowing our business.
Ultimately, if you don't like what I say, or how I go about saying it, then don't visit here. But if you do choose to do so, then don't use it as something to hold against me. It's my space to say what I like.

And another thing, when you have kids, it's your duty to boast about them. In your eyes they are the best at everything just like in my eyes, my kids are the best. That's how it should be and anyone who has a problem with that is clearly jealous (or has a screw loose). Just rise above it, you're better than that.

Like you said, if someone doesn't like what you right, they have the option not to read. no one but you dictates what you write here.
You have my full support on that point; I feel the same about my own blog. No one dictates what I write, ever.
Your damn right we do (every day) and it's much appreciated!
