Kids Castle1.jpgToday was a very sunny day and very windy.  We had a bit of a lazy morning because we were up late last night and then we drove past Stonahaven to a place called Dunnotar Castle.

Balancing Kids.jpgIt's an old castle on a cliff that is a bit ruined now.  We didn't go inside but played around for a while on the clifftops and then went right down to the bay area at the bottom.

Castle from Bay.jpgThere was a stoney beach with loads of pretty stones, shells, crabs and even seagull skeletons.  Daddy was teaching me how to skim stones, but I couldn't do it.  Me and Krystal liked throwing them in instead.

Dunnotar from beach.jpgThen it was time to climb back up the hundreds of steps back up the cliff.  I got sore legs and we had to go slowly.

Dunnotar from cliff.jpgBy the time we got back to the car we were all very sweaty so we went into Stonehaven for ice cream at a place called Aunty Betty's.  It was really yummy and there were loads of sweeties on the top.

When we came home I watched the rest of the football with Mummy on the couch. It's been a really busy weekend and we're all exhausted now!

Trying to work camera.jpgMummy edit: last night at Disney on Ice, the kids got a Mickey disposable camera.  They took it with them today to use the 27 shots in it.  Sounds simple enough right?  Wrong.  James and I were made to feel very old trying to explain that no, they couldn't see the photo after they take it, no they can't delete if it's rubbish and the winding on thing confused them no end.  This photo is of them trying to work out this complicated device!  Of course next came explaining that no we couldn't put them on the computer when we got home, we had to take them to a shop to be processed.....
