This morning Kory, Krystal & I made cookies.  Though they had more fun running their fingers round the bowl and licking them than they did making them though.

This morning we got out the pinecones that we got in Cyprus.  We chose them because they were open and all dried out and the ones in the parks here are always soggy!  We took them out in the back garden and painted them gold with sparkly glitter bits on them. 

They looked really good afterwards, but Mummy was covered in glitter.  She looked like a Christmas Fairy.  Once it gets near Christmas time, we are going to get some cinnamon smelly stuff to put on the pine cones too.

Krystal and I got to play in the garden for a while after that as we were dirty already!

Today I got to bake my first cake.  First we weighed some sugar and butter, then mixed them together.  Then we stirred some eggs in another bowl, and added them and flour and some other things in. 

Kory and I were mixing and mixing hard until it all went together.  We added some raisins at the end, as Daddy likes raisins. 

Kory was trying to help me mix by moving Mummy's spoon out of the way, but he dolloped it on my head instead...loook!

Once Mummy put it into the oven to bake, we got to lick the bowl.  Mummy said she used to do that when she was little too. 

We had to go and get Daddy while the cake cooled, but when we got home, Mummy and Kory decorated it.  Well, Mummy mixed the icing and Kory did the rest!

It was really good fun and tasted yummy after my dinner too!

It's been a week since I planted my cress men so thought I'd show you what they look like now.  I'm the winner, mine grew faster than Mummy's.  That means I'm the best.

Today is a very hot day, so this morning after we got dressed we went to Homebase to buy something for the garden to do this afternoon.  Mummy got pretty flowers for her tubs.  I got to buy some vegetables, I got carrots, peas, cress and spinach. 

When we came home we had a lovely picnic lunch in the garden, then Krystal and I played for a while. 

Then when Krystal went to bed, me and Mummy got out some coloured pens and water and tubs and kitchen roll.  We drew faces on our tubs and Mummy helped me write my name on my one.  Then we put in our kitchen roll and I poured the water. 

Next we sprinkled our cress seeds on the top.  Mummy says that when it starts to grow, our little men will get hair and we can cut it.  She says we can eat it too, but that sounds yucky! 

Here is a photo of them today and I'll keep taking some to show you how they grow.  Mummy has done one too so we're having a race to see who's grows fastest!

Happy Easter Everyone

Today is Easter Sunday and when I woke up and looked out of my window and saw SNOW!! 

I got up and went downstairs with Mummy and Daddy to see if the Easter Bunny had been to my house.  He had been, but he had hidden all my eggs from me.  I had to find them all which was good fun. 

Then because Krystal wasn't very well, Mummy took me out for a wee while.  It was very very snowy, so I wore my snowsuit.  We went to Tesco, then were going to go to Costco, but it was closed, stupid place.  I was going to get a hot dog there for my lunch.  So we went to McDonalds instead.  We got out of the car, stood in the queue and then when we ordered, the man said they had nothing left for Mummy so we had to get back in the car in the snow again.

Instead of food we decided to go to the giraffe toy shop.  I had good fun looking at loads of the toys.  Then Mummy decided we could go to a different McDonalds inside the big Asda.  I got a cheeseburger and chips for a special treat. 

When we got home, Mummy and I made blueberry pancakes with real blueberries.  They were really yummy in my tummy!

We've been busy making things recently.  Me and Mummy doing things at home and I've been making cards and Easter chickens at school.

On Friday Mummy gave me a bowl of pasta shapes, breakfast hoops and stars and some glue and glitter.  So I got busy sticking and sprinkling while Mummy made dinner and Krystal slept.  Here is what I made...

Then today we came home from school and had lunch then we made Easter Eggs.  First we melted some chocolate buttons, then put the chocolate in a mould I think it was called.  it had to go in the fridge then more chocolate 3 times which took ages.  So I went for a sleep.

When I got up we took the eggs out of the moulds, and stuck them together with some more melted chocolate then back in the fridge again.  Once it was all nice and cold, I got to decorate mine.  Mummy helped me write my name and I stuck on some flower sweeties while she did Krystal's one. 

I can't wait to eat my one!!

Today we went out and met a friend Iain from way back in our "PC World" days for lunch.  It was good to catch up and Kory insisted on sitting next to him.  We then headed to DFS to have a look at new sofas and I fell in love with one, only we can't afford to buy it!!  Sod's law eh??!!

When we got home we finally did something I've had in the cupboard for weeks waiting to be done.  It was 2 blank canvases.  In turn we painted the kids' hands and feet and printed them onto the canvases. 

It turned out better than I expected it to actually, though Krystal was not impressed with her feet being painted!!

Mummy and I have been doing some craft things over the past couple of weeks to get ready for Christmas.  

We used my glitter pens to decorate some Christmas tree baubles.  Mummy even helped me write my name on one of them. 

We have been using Christmas stickers too, we tried putting some on the baubles, but they don't stick properly. 

Today we made Christmas Crackers to put on the table on Christmas Day.  Mummy bought a kit for making them, and we put hats, jokes and chocolates inside them.  I even got to eat some chocolate, yummy!!

Once we had done all that, we made little tags to go on them, we used glue and stuck stars and sparkly things on and little ribbons that made it look like a wee present. 

Daddy came home and thought they were very nice. 

I wonder what we'll do next??
