Posing Bridge Kids.jpgAs Kory's mentioned, we've been away for a week and been so busy so this will be a long blog entry!

Cygnet.jpgWe left on Saturday and headed down to my Dad and Tricia's house, arriving about lunchtime.  After a quick lunch we headed to Strathclyde Park where we walked along the lakeside, went to a playpark and played with leaves.

Julie Gyro.jpgWe then headed to the other end of the lake (by car) where there was another park.  This one had zip slides, 3 way see-saws and strange spinny things that I had a shot on.   I felt yuck afterwards!  Was a bit like a gyroscope in the way it moved.  Never again!

Ice Cream Kids.jpgThe kids then got an ice cream and we moved to the lakeside while they ate it.  It was a slow process so I set about getting some photo's of the sun setting over the lake which was gorgeous.  All the while being eaten by midges.

Sun over lake.jpgWe went back to the house for a while before heading out to Di Maggios for a meal.  I was so good sticking to my diet too (lost total of 24lbs now) and the kids had a fab time playing and eating as usual.

Peek Krystal.jpgIn the morning, Kory was desperate for Krystal and I to leave, asking when every few minutes.  We took the hint about 11:30am and headed down to Kilmarnock to meet Mum, Laura, Jamie & Owen at a wedding fair.  It was the first I've been to and the fashion show was great.

Towel Girl.jpgOn Monday morning Laura & I took Owen & Krystal into Ayr.  We did a wee bit of Christmas shopping, but didn't get too far as Krystal kept crying that she was missing Kory which was really sad to watch.  We gave up and headed home!

Giggles Krystal.jpgOn Tuesday we had an early start - bridesmaid dress shopping!  This time Owen stayed with Jamie and just the girls went.  We actually chose one this time which I really love and is so flattering.  At the last minute Laura changed her mind on colour too, the new one is stunning, can't wait to wear it.

Owen Bath.jpg

Krystal Owen Bath.jpgWe took Krystal over to Mums work afterwards as I never quite made it in with her as a baby.   Then we headed to Irvine to go to a shop called XS which has cool stuff then food shopping, phew!  We stayed there for dinner that night, then Krystal had her bath with Owen which they enjoyed.

Owen Krystal Jammies.jpgThis photo was taken when both had their pyjamas on - so cute!

Owen2.jpgOn Wednesday we went to Laura's in time for Dad to arrive with Kory.  His wee trip was over and he was delighted to show us all his drawings and masks that he'd been doing at the places he'd visited.  Dad stayed for a couple of hours then headed home to recover and sleep!  We just chilled in the afternoon.

Mum Krystal.jpgThat night the kids had a big Gran bath, Krystal wasn't into the jacuzzi bit this time so got out while Kory was up to his neck in bubbles!!

3 kids in taxi.jpgThursday is the day Mum doesn't work, so we got sorted and headed for Culzean Castle.  We decided to try all the carseats in Tom's taxi and discovered they all fit, yay!  So off we went, all 3 children pleased with this arrangement.

Mum Tom Kids Cannon.jpgWe walked around the castle, down to the beach, played with the cannons, went round the gardens and went the clifftop walk.   We then stopped for a refuel - sandwiches, cereal bars, fruit and drinks.  With the energy levels topped up, off we went to the adventure playpark.

Krystal zipslide.jpgThere was a really high zip slide which Krystal announced she wanted a shot on,  so off she went!  Not a fear in the world.

3 amigos.jpgWe played there for a while, and even Owen got in on the act.

3 sleepys.jpgWe all went back to Mum & Tom's house for dinner that night.  It was a hard day for all the kids though!

Gran and Kids.jpgFriday was coming back to Aberdeen day.  I had decided to break the drive a bit with a stop off at my Gran's new place.  She moved into sheltered housing a wee while ago.  Each time we go down the road we practically pass the end of the street, and have never been in.  So we rectified that with a flying half hour visit.

Krystal hiding.jpgWe went for lunch with my Dad over in the shopping centre before hitting the road home.  And what a drive it was.  The rain was torrential.  Really bad to the point I wanted to pull over because I couldn't see.  But I also couldn't see where I could pull over.  I just slowed right down.  Luckily the kids were asleep at that point.  By Dundee the weather was lovely again.

We picked James up from work and to say the kids had missed him was an understatment!  Now back to reality of washing ironing and the school run.

I just had to share, that I bought size 12 jeans the other day, and what's even more impressive is that they fit and I can wear them!!  Me??  Size 12!!!   I've lost a total of 3st 3lbs now.  I've had a month of not being very good with one event after another, so the weight hasn't dropped too fast, but I can feel I've lost inches.

With my old pre diet size 16 jeans on (which were rather tight when I started!)

Big Cheese_2695.JPGI've decided, after Chloe's comment, that I will continue with the blog, but as text only until the photo thing is fixed.  Otherwise I'll forget what we've been up to!  I'll go back and add relevant photos when (if) it's fixed.

Cot Fun.JPGToday when Krystal woke from her nap, Kory decided to hide from her under her cot.  She couldn't see where he'd gone so I lifted her out (in her bag) and she spotted him and wanted to go under.

Cot Fun 2.JPGThey played under there for ages, Krystal thought it was hilarious!

Julie Krystal_4998.JPGKory took this one.  Quite impressive actually!

Time to backtrack a bit now, on Saturday we went to Matthew's 1st birthday party at his house.  Kory played with Joe, and insisted on wearing a party hat, while Krystal ate (and ate and ate!!)  It was good fun.

Krystal Big Willy.JPGWhen we were leaving, Katy (Matthew's Mummy) gave the kids rabbit balloons.  We blew them up when we got home and they were HUGE, Krystal's was pink, bigger than her and looked like a huge willy!

Kory's had been burst within about 10 mins by Krystal and they were both hysterical about it!  I popped the other on Sunday night as I didn't want a giant willy lying around when I had customers in!!

Krystal at Door_6255.JPGSo yesterday was a very busy day.  We had a dentist appointment at 9:30am in town which was a challenge to get to!  Kory was a good boy letting the dentist see his teeth.  I need loads done as usual now that I am back under private care I can get it (won't get fillings done when I'm under maternity NHS care as they are rubbish ones which caused half the problems I have!)  I have 2 x 30 min appointments in the next month, yuck!

Party Kids.JPG

James_Krystal_5692.JPGIn the afternoon I had 2 appointments for the business an hour apart.  Both went well both booked dresses.   Bizarrely it was the same dress they booked!  One thing I find hard is when one dress looks nicer on a lady than another.  I am honest regardless of price, I would rather they left with a cheaper dress that looked good than an expensive one that didn't.  But when the nicer one is the pricier one, as it looks like you are only saying it as it's more expensive!  So that was a nice successful afternoon!

And lastly - the diet.  I'm now lighter than I was when I met James, yay!  I do have photos (Jenni & Laura!) but obviously I can't show them now.   I will though.

So back into the country and back on the diet, yuck!!  I put on 11lbs on holiday which I'm actually fine with (I thought it'd be more) as I drank loads, ate lots of bread, some pasta, potatoes etc.   I started back on it on Thursday, so it's not been a week, but wanted to keep my Monday weigh ins.  So from then until now I've lost 6lbs.  Once I get back to where I was before the hols I'll keep the running total going.

I've not popped a food photo on for a while so thought I'd show you the crustless quiche I did yesterday when I did normal quiche for the others.  To be honest I'm not keen on the crust anyway, so it wasted fine to me!

Diet Week 10

I seem to be losing this weight steadily, another 3lbs came off this week, making a total of 34lbs I think.  I'm losing track slighlty in my running total, but I know it's a pound away from 2 and a half stone.  I even bought a little black dress yesterday which I never thought I'd wear in a million years.  But it actually looks nice on....no really!!  But rest assured, it's for my holidays so most people won't have to endure it!!

Diet Week 9

Have to say I thought today was week 10, but it appears last week was 9, so I am confused!  Anyway, another 3lbs this week making a total of 31lbs.  Unfortunately the boobs don't seem to be going down at all!!  People are really starting to notice now which is nice and I'm desperately running out of clothes.  My jeans can be put up/down without undoing them.  Weird, 2 months ago the same ones wouldn't even do up!  Anyway, here's a couple of photos this weekend compared to the start one again!
