Another week, another 4lbs off which means I've lost 2 stone.

I'm not going ot make it to the 3 stone mark for my holiday, but will definitely get to 2st 7lbs which is impressive enough for me.  I'll need to get James to take another photo and I'll get it on.

Yesterday I went shopping (alone, was great!) for holiday clothes and needed many of them in a smaller size which was nice.   Just before I started this, I bought a cheap pair of jeans from Asda.  But I love them loads.  Anyway they are now falling off me to the point they look like I'm wearing someone else's trousers.  I went back and they had discontinued the range in the petite range.  And last week in the normal length too so I thought I had no chance. 

Yesterday, I was looking at tshirts and just sitting there, nowhere near jeans was a pair of petite ones.  So I checked and it was the size I needed - woohoo!!  I couldn't believe it, I went and looked and there were no others in the section.  What luck!

Diet Week 7

And another 3 lbs off making a total of 24lbs.  I've made it to my first goal which I think I mentioned at the start.  This was to get to the weight I was on our wedding day, which I have got to and beyond this week.  Only 4lbs to go until the 2 stone mark, which I'm sure I'll manage before our holiday.

 This works out just under 5lbs a week (remember 2 weeks of it are kind of ruled out so only 5 weeks of proper dieting) which I think is pretty impressive.

Another 3 lbs off this week, making a total of 22lbs.  I'm feeling great for it.  I'm fitting into clothes I wasn't before and those that did fit before are falling off.  Ever heard a better excuse for a shopping tirp ladies??!!

OH MY GOODNESS is all I can say.  I knew I felt a difference, but asked James to take a photo today and I can really see a difference.  NEVER going back to the first photo...EVER!

Only lost 3lbs this week, so a bit disappointed compared to the other weeks, but I KNOW that 3lbs loss in a week is good by normal standards!

P.S.  This is short and not been other posts as our router has decided to die and therefore I'm having to be primitive and use a cable to plug directly to the modem!  We'll be back online properly hopefully tomorrow night (ha!  as if anything works the first time you plug it in.)

or is it week 2 all over again?!

This week I have lost 8lbs, so all of the 7lbs I put on last week and a pound on top.  So I'm a pound lighter than when I went on holiday at the end of week 2.  So over a total of 4 weeks I've lost 15lbs, but done 3 weeks on the diet, and 2 of them were on and off, so only 2 weeks.  Haha, I've made this so complicated again. 

I just can't decided if I should be calling this week 4 when it's not really....maybe I should have started diet after holiday to make it easier.

Anyway, in summary I'm 15lbs lighter than when I started!

Diet Weeks 2 & 3

Just a quick update on the diet front as we've been away on holiday.

My week 2 weigh in was the day we left (well actually it was day 12 but I'll just count as 2 weeks) and I reached my goal for the holiday of 14lbs or a stone!!  Well done me!!

I wasn't even going to try to stick to it on holiday, it's hard enough being vegetarian and eating out without not eating carbs thrown in.  So I knew I would gain weight.

So my week 3 weigh in today I have gained 5lbs, making the loss 9lbs in total.  (a little bit of cheating there really as I started diet yesterday and my gain had been 7lbs, but I want to keep my weekly at a Monday so did today too...confused??)

So anyway, I'm bac on properly now so have 9 weeks until my Cyprus holiday to hopefully lose another stone and a half.

In my first week of my diet, I have lost 10lbs.  Yay to me!  I'm very proud of myself and have actually enoyed it so far.  I've experimented a lot more this time than the last time I did it, I've had curry, pizza, oven bakes and the only thing I have had fried has been one omlette.  I'm really impressed with some of the food I've made I've been taking photos!

Diet Time

On Monday I'm starting a diet.  Any of you who have seen me recently will have no doubt noticed the weight creeping on again.  It's a bit of a treat to have something nice to eat when we don't get out much, and a reward after a hard day.  The excuse of "I've just had a baby" has worn off, so it has to stop.  Now. 

I'm not going to be going to a class, so have no humiliation of a weigh in with a leader to deal with, therefore I am going to blog about it weekly.  Mainly for my own benefit now to motivate me and in the future to see how I did and when. 

I'm might even take a monthly photo, I'll see how it goes.  I won't be telling my weight, but will report on my progress and loss.  My goal is to lose 3 stone long term, but for the short term, it's to fit into my wedding dress!
