This is my final photo with a lack of bump, I forgot to get it taken last week. I am now lighter than before I was pregnant with Krystal, although bigger round the tummy, so I must have lost it elsewhere, maybe my bum, right??!! WRONG!! It's as big as ever! I'm probably carrying a pint of milk as well, so I've no idea where it's been lost from. But who cares, I wore "normal" jeans for the first time todya, yippee!!These 4 weeks have flown past. With Kory, every day was like a week, every week like a month. But this time it's the weekend again before I know it. Krystal is doing ok, gaining weight well and sleep isn't too hard to come by either with her.
Kory had school this morning cried again. After lunch I decided his hair was getting too long, and it would be at least another 2 weeks before I could get him to a barber, so I took the clippers to it. What an improvement! I might be no Nicky Clarke, but it's miles better than it was.
James was off work again not well today, but at about 4:30pm he needed a bit of fresh air, so we put Krystal in the sling and headed for the park round the corner. She slept, and Kory had great fun as usual.
This evening Krystal decided she just didn't want to go to sleep, so for the first time in 4 weeks (ok so I shouldn't complain, we've been lucky getting this far!) we have been taking turns to pace the living room with her in between feeds. On that note I better go...

P.S. I'm not a buggy addict, incase you see them all in garage, I have the nice expensive single, the cheapy travel single and then the double, just because they all dumped in there it looks a lot!
Yay - it's the final bump photos! I'll probably still post a few after baby ones like I did last time, like the amazing shrinking tummy!
I'm a bit daunted about this week and what it'll bring (apart from a baby I mean!) - having major surgery is a big deal at any time, but having a baby the same day?! And to compound that I don't get to lie in bed and recover - oh no I get made to get up and showered at 7am the next day!!
And that's not to mention how scared I am of having another baby with a toddler full stop! Bit late now though, I should have thought of this about...well 8 months ago!

The appointment went well (ish) - the consultant was lovely and so was the supporting midwife. They felt baby, she's still breech - the consultant said that turning the baby only has a 40% success rate in a normal circumstances, so after a previous section, it's reduced as they can't be so rough as it could cause long term damage to scar tissue. He didn't say they wouldn't do it, but that he wasn't keen for something with risks and with a low succes rate.
He was happy that there is still plenty time for her to turn, and wants to see me back in 4 weeks time. But in the meantime my section for if she doesn't turn is booked for the 18th April, when I'll be 39 weeks. It's really not what I want, but I think I need to have a date to get my head round it, instead of being in limbo for another 4 weeks.
In the meantime, Teddy might turn, in which case I can back out of it and get the "normal" delivery I so desperately want. We spoke about some other things that would happen prior to and on the day of the section if it happens and I do feel a little better that it won't be so traumatic as last time and I won't be so out of it on drugs and no sleep! They also said all being well I could get out in 3 days.
In all I'm feeling pretty rubbish, both with this and feeling sick/ill all the time. It's becoming harder and harder to look after Kory and do things with him, simple things like playing with toys are almost impossible, so we read lots of books which he loves doing.

Where to start!?? Well, with the bump I think. After my moans last week, I thought it wouldn't/couldn't get worse. But shock horror it has! I was at docs on Monday about my sore throat only to be told I have pharyngitis. So I have antibiotics for that. When I was there she took my blood pressure and it was up. So I had to make an emergency appointment with midwife for today.
So I had that and she is concerned about a few things and wants to see me weekly from now on. On feeling for the baby, she discovered she is breech. Although there is plenty of time to turn yet, I've to prepare myself for another section if she doesn't. Wonderful huh?! So all of my illnesses and prescribed drug intake is wearing me down.
On Saturday night I had a night out with a couple of pregnant friends. Nothing exciting as I'm sure you can imagine, but an indian meal out which was nice. I'd wakened on Saturday feeling rubbish as it was, and thought about pulling out, but know how long it'll be before I get freedom again! The bump photos above were me before I went out. And this is a delighted Kory the morning after on finding my handbag with lipstick inside in the morning!
Sunday was a work day for me, but the boys had some fun playing with teddies as you can see. Kory has a recent fascination for the "big bed" always asking to get in it. Is this really the same baby who never slept, he's a right lazy bones now!
Our Monday was a right off because of the timing of my doctors appointment, so we never made it to Rambos. So it was a pretty rubbish day! Tuesday was on the quiet side too. I felt like I was dying in the morning and couldn't catch my breath at all. So we had a pyjamas morning then after we both slept, we made pancakes then went to get James from his work and I went to mine. Today, we went to playgroup in the morning as normal for a Wednesday, then after Kory's nap I totally confused the poor wee guy and got him into the car without giving him lunch! We went to collect James who was armed with lunch and came home. He was working from home as he had a doctors appointment (they won't do anything about his annoying cough, argh!) and I had the midwife. I really like this photo of Kory sitting on my bump, but boy did it hurt!
And lastly, yet another video - one James took of Kory and the teddies. Enjoy!

Just a quick one tonight as it's only been a couple of days. On Friday I had loads of plans to clean the house, only to wake up sick in the morning. So I did nothing, and I mean nothing! By 3pm, we were going stir cazy, so Kory and I went to get James from work and we went to order new blinds for the dining room and baby's room.
We got a chinese takeaway on the way home, and I've not seen anyone as excited about something for a long time as Kory was about prawn "cackers" He gobbled them down while we were waiting for the food (they have a bowl of them out for customers) and then again at home, with his spaghetti bolognaise. What a horrible combination, but he was unfazed!
Saturday was meant to be a productive day, but we ended up spending it doing housey things, cleaning all the bathrooms, putting up some mirrors/pictures and food shopping. Boring really! Here are Kory and I doing "See-Saw Boat" as he keeps asking for!
Today as usual I was working. It was really busy, and boring. It's getting harder to stand for a while now, I'm so glad I have only got 5 weeks left now. I did get a body pillow the other day though, it's about 5ft long and just moulds into the shape of you and is just brilliant for holding the bump up and getting comfy on!
James took Kory to Duthie Park to let off some steam. He loves chutes just now so he played on that for a while, watched some kites, chased dogs wanting to cuddle them and played with his ball. It started to get dark though and the park emptying so they came and got me and we all came home for dinner (and lived happily ever after....)

Please excuse the outfit, it's my work top! Totally unflattering at the best of times, but having to wear a bigger size when pregnant isn't great! This week Teddy has been growing loads, I feel much bigger. However, with this is coming heartburn, and incredible sciatic pain down my right side. Not had any appointments or scans to report on.
I walked possibly a little too far yesterday, which really wasn't far at all (for those who know Aberdeen - Chicago Rock to Debenhams and back again!!) but as I'm the size of a tank already, it's clearly too far. As a result, I've spent the day in bed...I got up for lunch, and dinner kindly supplied by my lovely husband! Other than that, I lay reading all day.
Oh and did I mention I have a wisdom tooth that has decided now would be a good time to make an appearance? Just when I can't take painkillers or anything, I'm in agony with that too.
I know all I seem to do is moan, but what's to be cheery about when pregnant!? The bottom line is, it's crap, but worth it somewhere in the future!!

On Friday we had our 20 week scan of Teddy. Here is the result...a baby!! Everything was present and correct, 4 chambers in the heart, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 hands, 2 feet and one head. It was jumping around all over the place, showing the scanner it's feet and peeking round at whatever was poking it!!
I'm feeling Teddy moving all the time now, to the point of lacking sleep. I feel shattered, argh, what am I doing having another one who won't sleep at nights? I've just got used to sleep again! Oh well 18 months from now I might get a full night...counting down....

...since I did an update, ooops. I won't go on and on, just a quick update of the weeks events, and probably some non events too! Last Saturday we went into Aberdeen in the morning to the International Market. As usual it was really mobbed but I did manage to pick myself up a nice necklace. In the evening, it was my baby group night out. We went to a chinese in town called Chi. It was nice enough but was slow. Our table was booked for 8pm and we left at midnight, by which time I was almost falling asleep!
On Sunday I was working, James cleaned out the inside ot the car and Kory slept!! On Monday, Kory and I headed to Brewsters to meet Leanne and the twins for a play. Kory attempts to say Jessica and Sophie now, but it's more like 'Essica' and 'Fifi' After we were done we went to Asda. It was a nightmare. It's the first time I've done a big shop since I've been pregnant and doing it with Kory was a big mistake!!
On Tuesday morning, Kory woke up in a mood (actually we all did as he'd been up screaming in the night!!). This was not ideal as he had his injection later in the morning. Needless to say this didn't help his mood, so we came home and I put him to bed, where he stayed for 3 hours, yay!! He was happier when he got up and seems to have been fine since. I worked till 10pm at night again this week.
Our Wednesday and Thursday's were just normal, playgroup then a bit of a bumming about afternoon and a lazy morning then baby group. I wrapped most of my Christmas presents on Thursday night, forgetting how hard that is with a bump!! I was in agony and gave up!! This was Kory doing a bit of naked dancing before bed (don't ask!!) one night this week.
On Friday, Kory's imagination seemed to run riot! He insited that he put a pair of shoes on the toy doggy. He then realised that the doggy had more legs and needed more shoes. Then the doggy was thirsty and needed a drink of his juice. Then obviously Kory wanted to take a photo of the doggy!!
Later, we picked James up from work, went to choose some books for Kory and went out for a lovely meal. We went to Pancho Villas (mexican) where as we were so early we were the only ones for most of the time. Kory was incredibly well behaved, eating most of his chicken fajita thing and entertaining the staff!! As it was the 1st of December, Kory opened his advent calendar and was delighted to see "cock-lat" inside!!
Today we finally sorted out Teddy's bedroom (well almost, there's still piles of baby clothes in there) sorted Kory's room, and even put up some pictures and mirrors, so it finally looks like a home in here!! We were meant to be putting up the Christmas tree too, but I have totally overdone it today and am so sore and sick.

Yesterday was a rough day, I have a cold and Kory is teething. We were both grumpy all day and as a result, didn't even manage to get dressed, let alone get outside. Not that we missed much, it was miserable weather and rained almost all day.
Today has been better, I got a nice long lie, well as good as it gets these days, till about 10am! In the afternoon, we went to Dobbies garden centre, which I love at Christmas time. Kory loved all the moving animals and teddies too. This photo is of him wearing his tracksuit for the first time - with the trousers rolled up 3 times!!
We then nipped into Sainsbury's (yes a nice change from Asda!!) and got dinner. I know this is silly, but James made Taco's for himself and the wee man, and Kory's looked so nice and colourful that I took a photo! He was even eating Jalepenos and not really batting an eyelid!!Julie.xx
On Monday this week, me and Mummy had a day of doing nothing really. We went to mummies work in the afternoon to get a few things, like Holly's birthday present and some meat. On Tuesday morning I wanted to wear my hat and my gloves with my pyjamas, but didn't want Mummy to take a photo...would you??!! Then we went to my swimming lesson and I had a late sleep and a good play before Daddy came home.
On Wednesday morning I went to playgroup and played with Daniel while Mummy went to see the baby lady. Everything was ok, Mummy told me she heard the heartbeat and got lots of blood taken out of her arm. I'm glad I didn't have to go now! Here is Mummy's bump this week, she thinks it's a funny shape, but all I know is that it's getting harder to cuddle her now!! But it's ok, because I can say "I love you" instead!
This week I've been to Brewsters 3 times, yes 3!! I'm not complaining though, I like playing there, and if we eat it's pretty yummy too. Wednesday afternoon was my first visit. We met Sarah and Coinneach there for lunch then had a play for a while.
On Thursday we did our usual lazy morning and then to our group in the afternoon, it was good fun as there were 2 other daddies there who played with cars with me this week. We picked up Daddy from his work after that. And then on Friday I went on my second visit to Brewsters. This time we didn't have food, but just went so that I could play with Holly. Mummy, Hannah and Natalie just sat there, how boring!!
When I went to my bed at night, Daddy went to where the aeroplanes go to pick up Nana. So when I got up on Saturday morning, I could hear her shouting "Kory", so I ran to see where she was. She brought me some books to read. After my sleep we went to Brewsters AGAIN. It was really embarassing though as the same ladies were working and they recognised me!! We had some lunch and then I played some more.
Today we took Nana to the airport again so that she could go "woosh" on the plane and then me and Daddy did some dancing, watched some TV then went back to get Mummy from work. As you can see my Daddy really loves me!!
Kory
xx
