Krystal Sports Day

Flag bearer.jpgThankfully when we got up it was a nice dry day, not overyly sunny, but not raining!  Krystal was in the green team for her sports day and got to carry the flag in to the sports field. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As with previous years (when Kory was in nursery) the teams do a variety of obstacle courses,kicking balls, balancing objects and running.  There are no winners and no losers, all the teams do well and have fun which is a load of nonsense as life isn't like that!

Rubbing hands dads race.jpgAnd as with every school sports day there's a Mums race and a Dads race.  They struggle to get any mums up there and then announce the Dads one and the men just about climb over one another to get to the start.  check them all rubbing their hands together!

First Day of Nursery

Krystal Nursery.jpgToday my littlest baby started nursery!  Yip, wee Krystal isn't so wee any more.  She took it all in her stride really as she's been going there for 2 years to drop Kory off.

Outside Nursery.jpgAnd was excited waiting outsidebefore we went in.  I stayed with her today to do all the form filling, but she wasn't even bothered where I was!  Go Krystal!

 

 

 

 

 

BackForth1.jpgIn the afternoon, the weather really brightened up and we played in the garden, had ice lollies then went to the park with friends.  A lovely happy day all round.

Big School

Smiley Inside.jpgToday Kory started primary school.  Although starting school doesn't seem to be such a big dealas when we were little, as they go to nursery in the school first. 

 

 

He was up early, jumping about like a wee kangaroo, wanting to put his uniform on at 8am.  That sounds ok, only his first day session wasn't until 10:45am. Cue one very long morning!

Once we did get him into his uniform, we had a photo shoot in the garden.  Of course once Kory started posing, Krystal had to get in on the act!

Everyone has a shot of them at their front door on the first day of school right?

 

JamieKory Leah.jpgWe met up with Jamie & Leah to walk down to school as the others were in an earlier session.  The 3 of them walked nicely the whole way down too. All so cute!

One of the teachers shouted them in and off Kory ran without a second glance back at us!  I didn't even get a photo!

Coming out school.jpgWhen we collected him he said he'd really enjoyed it, but was really acting a bit like "what was the fuss about!"

The main question I want an answer to is "how did my baby end up in school?" and no - I didn't cry!  I was pleased for him, not upset!
