I have to say back in the days of TTF, I never thought I'd see my son dancing to Real Love!! This is on our kitchen ipod and when it came on tonight Kory sprung up and started dancing like a mad man! For those who may have no idea, TTF were a Scottish group (I use the term loosely) who James and I were both into before we met, who played/made dance music in the early 1990's.
We've had a Wii for a couple of months, but when my Mum was up last week, she bought us a Wii Fit Board (was a bargain in Asda, right place, right time!) So here are a couple of videos of Kory and James using it. I've not had a shot yet for obvious reasons, but can't wait to get on board!
Yesterday after Daddy finished his work, we went to the beach. We went to a place called Frankie & Benny's for some food. There was a bit of a wait, so Kory and I sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. Kory is a bit of a professional at this after his visit to the pub in Cyprus.
When we got to our table, we had some food. I wasn't very impressed with mine, but everyone else enjoyed it. Kory had drunk so much he had to go to the toilet loads and loads! Silly Kory.
We got all wrapped up after our food and went to where the sea is to watch something called fireworks. I didn't know what anyone was talking about until the first big BANG! How exciting! Fireworks say "woooooosh, bang" and I can make a noise like that by clapping my hands and stamping my feet. I was so excited I wanted to get out of my buggy.
Once I did, Kory climbed in. He sat like a big baby with his hands over his ears. he liked the fireworks, but he just isn't as brave as me, I loved them! By the time we got home, Mummy was really exhausted, so Daddy put us both to bed. It was 9 o'clock, so very late for us.

What's he doing in there??
These are from over the last couple of weeks. 2 of Krystal playing in the garden which she loves despite the annoying noise she makes, and 1 of the kids playing in the hall with a nasty ending!!
Krystal says quite a few things now, and I realised we didn't have any video of her, so here she is saying hiya and bye bye. When you walk in a room she says "hi" or "hiya" which is cute. She says "bye bye" so like me it's scary, more like buh-byeeee where Kory says a proper bye-bye. Anyway here you go!

P.S. The increased amount of videos is because I can put them on easily while photos are a different ballgame! James assures me that it's "work in progress" though!

Today we've been in the house for most of the day, and the kids have been getting on really well. They've played chases and trains and dancing and peeking out from behind the curtains together. The age gap seems to be really narrowing. I love this photo of them together, it shows what they are like (most of the time) together. Krystal idolises Kory and copies everything, and Kory loves how she copies things he does and therefore that he can teach her to do things that are cheeky!! I know it won't last so I'm enjoying it!
And here are a couple of cheeky wee chaps!
Here is a video of Kory singing Wiggy Waggy Woo as taught by Nana on holiday. He wouldn't do the actions as well though.
This is a video of nothing. Just us in the house and Kory being a pig!

A spare photo of Kory from last week with his new books
We had a stressful lunchtime today, neither of the kids would eat, both were chucking wobblers resulting in me yelling at them. Kory decided he was tired and took himself off to bed (more likely to escape me!!) and I gave krystal some grapes to see if she was interested in those.
James texted me and I turned my back to reply. When I turned back Krystal had her eyes shut but was still chewing. I thought she was messing about, but she didn't open them again and was doing the "nodding while falling asleep" thing. All the while feeding in grapes and eating them! I crept out for the camera and caught the end of it.....
I couldn't have predicted the end of it though!! Cheeky Monkey!

P.S. Notice how she suddenly comes alive at the mention of food!!
Well after Kory's post earlier today, we had lots more fun, so thought I'd pop the other photos on!! It was actually really hot here today which is unusual, so we too full advantage of it. While Krystal was still asleep, Kory and I dug out the old pot plants and did some new ones which really brighten the garden up.
Once Little Miss got up, we dragged out the paddling pool, filled it up, got the kids UV suits from holidays on them, lathered them in suncream and let them lose with some balls and water!!
They had a great time; Krystal thought it was really funny to stand up and crash down making a big splash!
Once they were done doing that, it was snack time and I remembered we had a sprinkler. So while they were eating I got it out and connected up the hose. At first Kory was really freaked out about it (as usual with anything new) but the longer he sat watching it and seeing it did the same thing each time, the more interested he became in running through it.
James came home tonight with his carshare, meaning I could get on with making dinner, so I made us a a yummy salad, with corn on the cob and the troops had burgers while I had halloumi. Just like being on holiday!! We've discovered that Krystal LOVES corn on the cob, and does really well at polishing it all off!
